Dean you are correct. There was a time when the Gaither Trio was made up of Mary Ann, Gloria, and Bill. I'll try to post a picture of that group tomorrow. They recorded at least two albums with that personnel. My album is autographed by Bill like this: "Bill Gaither '64"

I don't know the timeline, but I would guess that the group with Mary Ann and Gloria happened when Danny left the trio to join the Golden Keys Quartet.

I guess it depends on how you read that section from the other site. It omits the facts that Danny left for a while and that Gloria and Mary Ann sang in the group at the same time.

But it is technically correct to say that Gloria took Mary Ann's place in the group (when Mary Ann left and Danny returned). The group again was two men and a woman.

Thanks to John we know all the facts about this but a lot of websites and books try to keep things simple and ignore the short-lived group changes we on this board love to explore in detail.
