so how do you get the chocolate to melt?

Oh, I knew we'd missed something Katt....in all the times I've tried it, I can't get the chocolate to melt more...course, we were roasting the marshmallows while there were ice pellets falling...seriously...
We had two yurts, a boys yurt and a girls yurt. Each sleeps six...there are two bunk beds, and the bottom ones are big enough for two people. We had others invited but this time there were only four girls and two boys...but it was fun. I was on a top bunk, about a foot from the ceiling, and was it ever loud when the ice was pelting...
I think we are aiming for mid-summer next year, lol...at least, I am!!! :TonyClick:
Oh yes, and we did huddle like penguins for warmth...no pics of that tho...

looks like fun Lor....next time eat the big chocolate and use the thin chocolate bars for the smores...but then again....just eat all the chocolate :D

Great pictures....the smore thing....I like to almost burn my marshmallows so they are hot enough to melt the chocolate....yummy

Those are great pictures! I've never been camping...... really have no desire to..... but I suppose that yurting wouldn't be so overly bad...... except I didn't see any pictures of a bathroom or shower. :(

Shari, the loos were down the lane...they were clean, and heated (woohoo), but still very much 'park' bathrooms. No, it wasn't the Hilton...but then, we were only there for two nights. And yes, there were showers too, and they had hot water which was indeed a blessing!!!
