Actually, this isn't Rose sitting with Anna of the Chuck Wagon Gang.

Who is she?

James Moore - October 27, 2006 02:10 PM (GMT)
Shaye Truax

JohnCBoy - October 27, 2006 03:09 PM (GMT)
Sorry, James. Shay wasn't born when that picture was taken.

Gayla - October 27, 2006 06:10 PM (GMT)
I don't know her name; however, I know she was in that "silly Gospel Music movie", "Sing a Song for Heaven's Sake". In fact, I think that is where this picture is taken from. I beleive that would make it about 1965?

Ben Pegues - October 27, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
1966... the same year that Boatman was with the Sunshine Boys!

JohnCBoy - October 28, 2006 01:02 AM (GMT)
I need an aspirin!

VirginiaJoe - October 28, 2006 03:37 AM (GMT)
John, before your headache is full blown.....

do you rate Jim Boatman high on your list of all time bass singers?

now you can take that aspirin....

JohnCBoy - October 28, 2006 01:03 PM (GMT)
Not especially. I personally rate him #5 among Sunshine Boys bass singers behind JD Sumner, Burl Strevel, Jimmy Jones and Johnny Atkinson. He was solid and sang on pitch. That's more than I can say about many bass singers.

However, there are several bass singers that others rank highly that I think are mediocre at best, so what do I know?

Back to the question at hand:

Who is the lady in the picture with Anna?

JohnCBoy - October 29, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
bump

Kattie E - October 29, 2006 04:44 AM (GMT)
I don't know which one is Anna but that lady on the left looks like Anita Bryant?

got orange juice?

Lauren Talley Rocks! - October 29, 2006 06:25 AM (GMT)
:babyha:

I think her name is Louise Clark.

JohnCBoy - October 29, 2006 02:08 PM (GMT)
I'm glad somebody figured out this wasn't a bass singers thread!

Good job, LTR!
