Shawna's best friend's husband was out hunting with a group. He shot a deer and when he got there it wasn't dead and it kicked Kevin. In frustration (I think) Kevin went to kick it in the head when the deer turned his head and the antler went through his foot. Kevin is 6'7 and the guys in the group had to carry him down the mountain. Please pray for Kevin as he heals from this.

The doctors didn't know if they should laugh or not! Kevin had to repeat his story to everyone who came into his emergency room!

Wow, that is freaky...I pray he heals quickly...

I know it's not funny now, but one day it will be.....poor guy...sometimes the deer fight back you know.

They have all been laughing since the doctors in the emergency room! They kept the top part of his foot open incase of infection. They called me last night to say it was stitched up and the other stitches will be removed on Friday. No infection.

His fater-in-law is wanting to get the antlers mounted and have the shoe included on the antlers....lol. :rolleyes:

Kevin is still using crutches but is doing better. Thank you for the prayers.

Just pondering...........what do you do if a DEAD deer kicks you? :rolleyes: :doggie:
