Hot Sweet Pickle Slices
1 gallon dill pickle slices
4 lb bag of sugar
Tabasco Sauce
Pour juice off jar of pickles, (there will be still be a good bit of juice in the pickles, you don't want them dry). I know it sounds like a lot, but you add the entire bag of sugar, it takes a while for it to dissolve, you may have to do a bit at a time, but it will eventually melt. Add Tabasco Sauce to taste, I use about one half the small bottle, I don't like them too hot. Refrigerate and keep turning the jar upside down and then back right side up for a few days untill the Tabasco Sauce and the sugar is really mixed up. I start eating them right away, but they're better after they sit.
These are really good....

You don't even have to add the tabasco sauce unless you want to. I don't put very much...I like mild also....lol

They're not even mild to me the way Mama makes them...I prefer them much hotter....these are my favorite pickles! I can easily eat a Mason jar full of them in one sitting.....lol.....
