Statesville, NC- Although, The Tarheel State Quartet has been working on a new Southern Gospel project with Lamon Records throughout the fall, group members have been writing songs that Jeff Rowland says will “cross over.” Jeff says, “I spent several months writing and recording some music that was more of the praise style of music. I brought some of those songs to the guys in the group and their harmonies were phenomenal and they really enjoyed that style of music.” Although the group is working on a praise and worship album, their fan base and radio singles will remain close to their roots. “We enjoy reaching out and offering churches a variety of music but the lyrics to these songs are truly from the heart of the Father,” claims Ronnie Moore founder of the group.
