JohnCBoy - November 21, 2006 08:33 PM (GMT)
1. Do your Thanksgiving Day plans include watching football?
I'm sure it will be playing in the den. It makes wonderful background sounds to a long afternoon nap

2. What state will you celebrate Thanksgiving in?
The state of confusion if it's like most of my Thanksgivings

3. Have you ever been in a play about Thanksgiving?
No matter what anyone may tell you, for once I wasn't the turkey.

4. Will your Thanksgiving Day plans include a long or short car trip?
It all depends on perspective and definition. Is two hours long or short?

5. Have you ever been to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade?
Never have

6. What do you do with cranberry sauce?
Try my best to keep it away from my food

7. Have you ever thrown dinner rolls at the Thanksgiving Day meal?
They generally rise better if you don't encourage that activity

8. Will you volunteer to help with the dishes after the meal?
I always volunteer, but around that household, there are far too many who are trying to help and I just get in the way. When Carol and her sisters start shufflin' dishes around, you'd best stay out of the way. They have their own system, and far be it for me to intrude.

9. Do you prefer dressing or stuffing?
I like both, but this year I shall go for the dressing (because I know who made it!)

10. Mashed or candied sweet potatoes?
I think I'll leave them with the cranberry sauce

86. Do you have any words of advice for the Thanksgiving Day meal?
Don't sit beside my brother in law Will. He splashes food and talks too much.
