Several of you have asked about my recent "assignment". Miss C and I took our first cruise last week. We traveled to Cozumel and Key West on the Fascination ship. We had a lovely time and wanted to share a few pictures and memories with you.

First is a picture of our ship. The food was excellent and the staff was quite attentive to our needs. I would recommend this excursion to anyone looking for a great time!

Here are a couple of pictures of us doing two of our favorite cruise activities: Riding horses and eating!

I was much better at eating than riding. JCB is still working on the cowboy act. :horseride:

Tuesday night was formal night. It took a lot of film, but we finally got a decent formal portrait.

I must say that our trip was bittersweet. When we returned home Sunday afternoon, our little puppy, Munchie, was very sick. She passed away Sunday night, and we will miss her so very much.

Such a beautiful lil girl who will be missed so much :wub:

No, this wasn't an anniversary celebration. I won the cruise in a sales contest, so it was just a great time together.

We did an anniversary trip to Jamaica last year, so I expect we'll have to forgo an anniversary trip this year. :rolleyes:

I love "New York, New York"..... too bad I don't have a microphone on my computer so I can hear your version.

And, why can't we ask who came in first place? Was it Carol?

Absolutely not. Carol has a lovely voice. However:

#1 She's not the ham her husband is, so she won't do karaoke

#2 "Singing" had little to do with the winning act

Thank you for sharing the pictures! It looks like y'all had a wonderful time! I am so sorry for your loss of Munchie. Sorry I've been kind of out of touch. I'm in CO for Thanksgiving.

thanks for sharing your pictures, they are beautiful and wonderful. You both must have had as much a great time as My boss did when he and His wife did for their 30th anniversary. they went this summer. They enjoyed themselves as much as you two did.

Oh John..I LOVED your pictures! Miss Carol is absolutely gorgeous! Such a nice looking couple!! I love the fancy pic...her dress is beautiful and you look so snazzy!
Congrats on the karaoke! I would have loved to have seen that.
