Aww . . . . you poor girl? :( Eating Thanksgiving Day dinner standing up? That's a no-no for such an occasion. Everyone should be sitting while munching on a gobbler. Next time you should introduce 'musical chairs' along with the dinner thus insuring yourself a chair, :angry: even if it means gran'ma might have to stand!

It really wasn't that bad...There are some years we have more people than that there....Several of us just walk around and eat...or sit on the stairway or...in the middle of the floor....At least this year the weather was great and the kids got to sit on the fronch porch! I wouldn't trade them for the world! :wub: (even if there are too many of us!!!..lol)

My brother and his family because they live in Chicago and I don't get to see them often enough.

No, but Mom did...... she was checking one of her pumpkin pies, and as she was putting it back in the oven, she dumped it on the oven door. LOL We scooped the filling back into the crust, and I hear..... "Don't throw it away! That would be wasteful!" So, we finished baking it.... but didn't take it to the gathering. (Mom's famous pumpkin dump pie)

Yes, it was a wonderful day. My parents are divorced, and we were all able to get together and have a wonderful, peaceful day....... and that wouldn't have happened 20 years ago. I'm so thankful that Mom and Dad are speaking again.
