Shan'ku looked up at the scum sitting across the table from him. Apparently the Aqualish had no idea who he was dealing with. Shan'ku had preferred to keep it that way. The universe believed him dead, and that meant the Jedi believed him dead. That made things much easier. He glared at the Aqualish thief.

"Do not make a mistake that you will regret. Just turn the item over and you will be paid."

The Aqualish made insistent grunting and gurgling sounds.

Shan'ku's eyes narrowed. "Then tell me where it is and you can live."

The Aqualish made more noises and indicated two big bruisers at a nearby table. So that's how it's going to be, is it? Shan'ku thought to himself.

"I would say I'm sorry it had to be this way, but really, I'm not. I'll keep my credits and still get the object."

Before the Aqualish could say another word, he felt the pain of his mind being ripped apart as the location of the object was pulled from his mind. His friends at the next table saw the Aqualish's body straighten and stiffen and knew something was wrong. They got up but only got about two steps before being shot between the eyes with two quick blaster bolts from Shan'ku's concealed pistol. Shan'ku stood, walked out the door of the cantina and down three blocks east. Opened the door with the code he pulled from the mind of the thief and went into the building. He emerged a few moments later with a small box and then went to docking bay 66 to get into his ship and leave this wretched planet and start putting his plan into action.

Kylie watched the dark man stride towards his ship. She cast an envious glance at his ship, stopping momentarily.

"Boska, cheeka!" (Let's go, woman!) A voice called imperiously from the next hangar.

"Eh, dobrah wata!" (Yeah, I'm here!) Kylie replied, shaking herself out of her reverie and heading towards the hangar entrance. Another day, another ship to fix.
