Title: Reserved Leader....

Kat - October 2, 2004 02:50 AM (GMT)
A reserved young woman sat on a throne in a dark room in the palace, awaiting her fate in the most dignified manner she could muster. Her knee length red hair flowed over the bench like a waterfall; her crystal blue eyes were locked on the door...waiting....waiting....

This girl was Queen Aimee of New Alderaan. She was only 15 years old, but that was old enough to run a planet. Many leaders before her had been that age or younger when running a planet.

The Empire had taken over New Alderaan, and now she was waiting to see what they would do with her, and her fair planet....what did they have planned? She just didn't understand....her planet was usually so peaceful. Why did the Empire want her planet?

Amaurea - October 8, 2004 10:46 PM (GMT)
Enter teh Jed1.

Nammon Rin and his apprentice, Rithen, had landed on New Alderaan. The Jedi Council was lending its aid to the Queen Aimee. The elder of the two Jedi, Nammon, walked quickly through the halls of the palace, guided by an escourt. He stood fairly tall, with broad shoulders and wavy brown hair. He walked with a calm, confident gait, his brown, hodded cloak flowing about him. He was efficient and quiet, and his apprentice followed suit.

Rithen Hiranek was a Padawan of about 17. Despite his age and maturity, his head still only reached his master's shoulders. It was something Rithen was quite sure would never change. He walked at his master's side, mirroring the older Jedi's quiet. Rithen knew the times to talk and the times to listen. Now was a listening time. Both Jedi followed the escourt to the queen's chamber. They came before Aimee and both gave a low bow. Rithen let his master do the talking.

"Your highness, Queen Aimee," said the Jedi. "I am Nammon Rin, and this is my apprentice, Rithen. We come in representation of the Jedi Council of Degobah."

Kat - October 9, 2004 01:53 AM (GMT)
The queen blinked, staring at the two jedi. She certainly hadn't expected them...how had they gotten past the guards that were beginning to take over? She shook her head. No time to figure that out now.

"Follow me, don't ask questions!" She hissed quietly, standing up. She pushed the throne out of the way, revealing a trap door in the wall. She opened it and gestured for them to follow, then stepped in.

Amaurea - October 9, 2004 03:12 AM (GMT)
Rithen glanced at his master for the okay, and when he recieved it, stepped hurriedly into the secret passage, remaining silent. Nammon stepped in last, glancing over his shoulder before ensuring that the door was closed quietly.

Kat - October 9, 2004 03:30 AM (GMT)
She lit a candle, revealing a dark passage. She started down it, glancing back at them. "Thank goodness...your arrival was of perfect timing. New Alderaan has been taken over, if you have not noticed. I am amazed you found me before they."

Amaurea - October 9, 2004 05:46 PM (GMT)
"That's our job, your higness," answered Nammon calmly. He and Rithen followed the Queen quickly and carefully. Their movements were confident, even in the dark. "We knew the Empire was coming for you, but we thought we had more time. It seems we were wrong."

Kat - October 9, 2004 06:27 PM (GMT)
She stopped, opening a door, and walked inside a small room. It was a small, humble living quarters, with a couch and a few pillows and blankets thrown about. In the corner was a wooden chest, probably with nonperishable food.

She glanced back at them. "Make yourselves comforable. We must talk."

Amaurea - October 9, 2004 06:38 PM (GMT)
Rithen looks up at Nammon, and the master voiced what the apprentice was thinking. "Actually your highness, we think it would be best if you came with us to Degobah."

Kat - October 9, 2004 07:23 PM (GMT)
She raises an eyebrow, watching them. "Pardon me for disagreeing sirs, but I cannot leave at this time. You must understand that."

Amaurea - October 9, 2004 09:30 PM (GMT)
Rithen furrowed his brow, frowning. Before Nammon could reply he put in his two cents. "Your majesty you can't help your people if you're dead." Nammon closed his mouth, satisfied with his student's words. Folding his arms in the sleeves of his robes he nodded and continued.

"My apprentice is correct, your highness. What could you accomplish here with the Empire at your gates?" he inquired.

Kat - October 9, 2004 09:49 PM (GMT)
"My responsibility is to stay with my people and help them during crisis. If I were to leave, I'd be abandoning them." She watched the two of them, keeping an unreadable expression apon her face. "I may be young, sirs, but I know where my duties lie, and I know the rules of being Queen."

Amaurea - October 10, 2004 02:52 AM (GMT)
Nammon put on an equally serious expression. "My lady the best way you can help your people is to go seek help. The Council is powerful. We can help you and your planet."

Kat - October 10, 2004 03:27 AM (GMT)
"Why don't you go and get the other jedi? I cannot leave." She seemed very firm in her decision....she wouldn't quickly change her mind.

Amaurea - October 10, 2004 07:18 PM (GMT)
The Jedi sighed. He understood the Queen's determination to remain with her people. Perhaps he would have done the same thing. Hey sympathized, he truely did. But he was just as firm in his own decision. "Your highness, the Jedi alone cannot free your people. And I assure you if you stay here and are taken by the Empire, your people will fall."

Kat - October 10, 2004 07:34 PM (GMT)
She sighs, looking at the ground, considering her options. Realizing there weren't many, she shrugged and looked up at them. "Very well. I will go with you to seek help."

Amaurea - October 13, 2004 12:24 AM (GMT)
Nammon was relieved, and he gave a quick nod. "Good. Then come with us, your highness. We must hurry."

Kat - October 13, 2004 12:56 AM (GMT)
She nods, looking around the room before looking back at them. "Alright. Where is your ship located?"

Amaurea - October 17, 2004 12:02 AM (GMT)
"We must hurry out to the dock," replied Nammon, walking back to the throne room. Rithen took up the rear behind the Queen.

Kat - October 17, 2004 12:15 AM (GMT)
She nods, folding her arms in her sleeves, following Nammon silently, thinking about what might become of her planet.

Rhigama - October 19, 2004 09:07 PM (GMT)
As though on cue, a crash resounded from outside. A fight had spilled out into the open, and people where screaming and scattering. The rather dimwitted guards stood there stupidly and watched.

Lask Zaigon was doing battle with a cloaked figure that wielded a pair of sleek white lightsabers. His double-bladed lightsaber flashed in and out of sight, both blocking and dealing out blows towards the opponent, ducked, rolled, leapt up again, blocked, slashed.

The cause of this outburst...?

This figure happened to get in Lask's way, and well...stuff happened from there...and superlatives flew, just like how lightsaber blades were flying in and out of view. The figure was managing to keep the black hood up to cover thier features, and was holding up pretty well against Lask.

Guards yelled, herding citizens away from the wild fight where no rules seemed to bind the pair of fighters. And anyone else just didn't get involved. There was no freakin' way they even could! There wasn;t an opening for anyone to intervene...these two weren't leaving themselves wide-open and susceptible to attacks from thier foe.

Lask grimaced and crouched into a stance, watching his opponent. The foe did the same, only standing slightly differetly...then the two of them started to circle...looking for a way to hit a weak point....but finding nothing. Finally, Lask let out a low snarl of frustration and launched towards the enemy, but slid below a high slice in the air, and moved on past. The cloaked figure turned and looked around and around, not seeing or sensing Lask at all. It wasn't night time, but it was approaching dusk, and the light of day was dimming to a yellowish-orange shine.

Kat - October 19, 2004 09:29 PM (GMT)
Aimee's sapphire eyes snapped wide open, and she looked up. "What is going on!?" She gathered her skirts and moved in front of Nammon, heading back to the throne room. She pulled open the trap door and ran into the room, heading to the door leading out into the hall. She opened a small secret window and peered out to see what the chaos was about.

What could be going on....?

Rhigama - October 19, 2004 09:53 PM (GMT)
Lask watched his opponent carefully, and leapt down from his perch, weapon at the ready. But his target moved, a wind blowing the hood off of her head. A white-silver ponytail whipped in the wind, over her eyes in the fadeing light.
The Dark Jedi smirked. A chick, huh? Too bad, such a waste...she coulda been a good wife for somebody someday.

Saira turned to face him, and bared her fangs in a angry hiss. Her black cloak whipped around her slender frame, the black fabric snapping around her wrists and just below her ankles. She darted out of sight, and ducked into the dark corridor of the 'palace'? Her red eyes glowed in the dark, and her feet were swift and silent, propelling her speedily and stealthily through the hallways. Lask was quickly after her, doggedly pursuing his prey, dark eyes like twin engulfing eternities in the shadow.

Saira slid around a corner, and ducked out of sight. Lask didn't even bother following her this far into the place. Time to go to the building site of the Death Star and sttend to business.

Saira sighed with relief and looked around, her eyes glowing in the dark hall. They focused on a woman looking out a window, and she rose, dusting her cloak off airily...

Kat - October 19, 2004 10:24 PM (GMT)
Aimee, realizing she had been seen, stumbled back away from the window, wondering if the person who had seen her was friend or foe. She didnt know who either of the people fighting out there had been....so she wasn't so sure.....

She glanced back towards the jedi. "Did you bring friends....?" She didnt think those fighting in the hall came with these jedi...but she might as well ask...

Rhigama - October 19, 2004 10:27 PM (GMT)
Saira blinked and looked a bit relieved. "No, I didn't come with anyone but myself. And that other guy is something you'll want to watch out for, if you're who I think you are." She smiled and walked to within easy speaking distance. "I'm Saira Oni'Shi. And that man was Lask Zaigon, sent here for a purpose." Shje had been spying on him. She liked to keep on top of things...

Kat - October 19, 2004 10:40 PM (GMT)
She blinked, startled. She then heard that she was friendly, and unlocked the throne room door, ushering her in. She closed and re-locked it, looking at her. "And who do you think I am?"

Rhigama - October 19, 2004 10:55 PM (GMT)
"I 'think' that you are the famous Aimee." Saira told her. "And while I'm thinking about it, I shall warn you. Do you even know anything of Lask Zaigon? Do you know anything of the Empire's plans?" Her red eyes scanned around the room curiously, then focused on Aimee's eyes.

Kat - October 19, 2004 11:39 PM (GMT)
The young queen blinked. "I am Queen Aimee Alcina. And as for this Lask you speak of, I have not heard of him. And I do not know, what the Empire has in store for us. Do you?"

Rhigama - October 19, 2004 11:45 PM (GMT)
"Indeed, I do. I'm sure you are familiar with the Death Star..." She plopped down uncerimoniously onto the floor where she stood. "They plan on rebuilding it. And Lask Zaigon is the dude responsible for keeping things running smoothly..." She sneered. "Appointed by the Empress herself, in person, my sources tell me."

Kat - October 20, 2004 12:22 AM (GMT)
"The Empress..." She frowned, but most emotion and expression was hidden by her formal makeup. She shook her head, folding her arms. "So they plan on using my people as slaves?"

Rhigama - October 20, 2004 12:47 AM (GMT)
"Oh yeah..." She said casually, leaing back. She didn;t appeared to be bothered by this notion of slavery at all. "And when they're done with em;, they';d most likely drown them in a river like rats or something...bottom line? If someone can;t work 24/7, they die. These people are tyrants withno remorse, and I know Lask won't let up...we're talking about a guy whose favorite class is 'Torture 101'." She was acting like this was some normal conversation. Like they were talking about takeing a day trip to the beach.

Kat - October 20, 2004 01:39 AM (GMT)
She paled, though no one could see it. "T-that sounds..horrible...." She stumbled back, sitting in her throne, staring at the others.

((OOC: Crap guys, I'm sorry! Things have been crazy around here O_o Some Jedi my guys are. And my rp skills have sucked lately so dont mind my terrible posts :<_<: ))

The two Jedi took in all that had just happened. At the words "Death Star", Rithen looked up at his master with wide eyes. But the elder Jedi kept his composure and looked at the newcomer. "We thank you for your assistance," he says. "We have not met. I am Nammon, and this is my apprentice, Rithen. Where is your ship?"

Kat - November 4, 2004 01:17 AM (GMT)
She listened to the Jedi gravely, taking this infomation in. They would use her people as slaves....and then blow them up. This was horrible...and just not fair. But then again, life wasn't fair....

Amaurea - November 4, 2004 01:34 AM (GMT)
Nammon opens his mouth to speak again but then stops short, drawing up slightly. At the same time Rithen suddenly bristles, srunching his shoulders a bit as though an uncomfortable feeling had just slithered over his skin. The younger Jedi releases a breath sharply and then draws another. Nammon looks at him and Rithen looks back. They had both felt it. Like a slegehammer blow they had felt Death. A million voices screamed for an instant and then were wiped from memory...gone. Only a Jedi could have felt it.

Something was terribly, terribly wrong.

"My lady we must hurry," said Nammon after he recovered.

Kat - November 4, 2004 01:35 AM (GMT)
She blinked, watching them, finding their behavior odd. However, she didnt question nor argue with them, and nodded, standing up. "Very well."

Rhigama - November 11, 2004 11:35 PM (GMT)
Saira~

"Saira...that's my first name, anyways...." She blinked, then smiled grimly. "Then it's already set into motion. Lask Zaigon is there already." She had felt it too. Of course she would. She's incredibly, incredibly force sensitive, but barely ever used the Force for anything. It made her wonder what she actually is, for like..the thousandth time.

Lask~

He was there all right. And he DID in fact order people dead. They were the ones that could not work...the pregnant mothers, those who were disabled, and more. Thier deaths were carried out happily. Lask didn't care hoiw they died, as long as they were gone by the time he looked that way again.
He was currently watching some workers sweat and labor away with a bit of a smirk on his handsome face. They were afraid to slouch even a inch in his prescence. It made the guards laugh to see such behaviour.

Kat - November 16, 2004 12:00 AM (GMT)
"Do you think it's wise to leave my people here under his control?" She couldn't help but feel worried....her people depended on her. She couldn't just leave them if they were in danger....."There must be some way to help them quickly..."

Rhigama - January 5, 2005 02:04 AM (GMT)
[ooc- Dual post. Aimee is in red. ]

Saira thought for a moment, then turned, eyes swiveling towards the Queen's eyes, and studied them...
Aimee looked at her for a moment, then shook her head, moving to the window, glancing out. "I can't leave my people here. They can't wait...they'll all be killed."

Saira heaved a sigh and walked after her, standing beside her and resting her arms on the windowsill. "If you stay here, then you won't live either. And I think your people like thier Queen alive, thanks...even if dead leaders do make less mistakes."

"That may be true, but if I leave, surely the enemy will take out their anger on my people. I was made Queen for a reason. I am to protect my people, and not abandon them. And my leaving would go against everything I am supposed to do."

She did not answer just yet, but continued staring out the window. "...then I might have a plan. If you can't save all of them, then perhaps you can save the next slew of pregnant women and children before he orders them killed next."

She looked over at her, then nodded. "What might your plan be?"

"I know that right now, things should be winding down for the night. Lask is cruel, but not stupid. His men can't patroll and play grim reaper efficiently at the same time, and night is nearing. They will all grow weary, so right now, he'll only have them cooped up in prisons." She said, then turned her head to look at Aimee. "....For some reason, the Dark side has been very interested in whatever I am. idon't kow what I am, and I want to know what it is that interests them,....it takes alot to catch thier interest these days, does't it?"

She shrugged. "I don't know much about the Empire. All I know is that they've taken interest in my planet, and I must stop them somehow."

she supressed a snort of laughter. "You need to pay more attention, oh effective ruler..."

Her sapphire eyes narrowed as she glanced over at her. "We have been a peaceful planet for many years. We have had no need to study the Empire and what they do."

"I'm not going to try and make you see things my way, I'm no Sith." She was not worried at all. "Like I said, I'll be the decoy...oh, and if those two lazy asses that call themselves Jedi over there..." She tossed her head towards the other two... "...decide they'd like to participate, then they're more than welecome to stick thier necks out in the open with me. Personally, I think they should go with you. You'll need the help navigating around the base..."

Tiberius - April 2, 2005 12:50 PM (GMT)
Tiberius felt good, the invasion was going well in fact it was more or less over. Imperial troops were in the last stages of storming the capital city, the only problem so far was that the Queen had disspared somewhere. "Sir, we've recieved reported that the Queen is trying to escape via a ship near your location!" Tiberius heard the vioce of caption Tresk his second -in-command who was marshalling the fleet above in his absence. "Recieved, we will try to take her alive. Escort on me, shuttles Oberon and Treast land near site and take control on the ground." Tiberius banked his custom Tie interceptor, the 3 escorting Ties matching his moves perfectly. Tiberius quickly spotted the ship and the group of people, even from here he could make out the distinctive red hair of the Queen, "Target spotted. Escort with me, disable the ship, shuttles disembark your assault teams now!" With that Tiberius threw his Interceptor into a dive, the four laser splitting green death to the people below.
