Title: Hi, new here

HanSoloGirl - May 22, 2005 09:54 PM (GMT)
Hi, I just found this place. Around the net, I've been known as Christy or EsmeAmelia in various places, but my real name is Liesel. Jedi Jane and JediMasterYoda are my little brothers.

Anyway, my favorite SW characters are Han Solo, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Padme Amidala, Han Solo, R2-D2, Han Solo, C-3PO, and Han Solo. Oh, did I mention that I love Han Solo?

Look forward to posting here. Not sure if I understand how the RPing works, but I'll figure it out soon enough.

Hi Christy!

It's Kitty17794 here, and Amaurea's around too, and so is Number 6 (Quite a few Disneysites-goers here, really.). :D Glad you decided to join us! If you have any questions, please, feel free to ask.

Okay, how exactly does the RPing work? (And is Han Solo taken?)

Kat - May 24, 2005 01:04 AM (GMT)
No, Han's not taken, but he wouldn't be a major character in this, as it takes place around 10 years after the last movie. Luke and Leia do make brief appearances, so I imagine Han would too, but I would have a back up character in case. :D

Yes, this is the Star Wars version of DisneySites Messageboards. :D

Welcome to our boards! We love new members and if you are a good writer than you will pick up roleplaying quickly enough. Here's the best definition of roleplaying I can come up with (note there are a few different styles to roleplaying, but I'll show you how we do it here.)

Roleplaying is where you take on a character from a movie, book, video game, or anything else, or create your own character and you basically play a game by acting with that character. For instance, I have two Jedi characters Nammon Rin and Rithen. You post a sort of mini-story describing what your character does and says. Example, I could post this with my Jedi:

Rithen yawned as he picked through the computer files of the Jedi library. Three hours and they still hadn't found anything on their rogue planet...For once in his life Rithen was beginning to doubt the Jedi files but Nammon didn't seem discouraged yet. Running his hand through his messy brown hair, Rithen looked up. "Master," he sighed. "We're getting nowhere."
Nammon didn't look up, but calmly continued to read, the glow of his computer screen lighting up his face. "Patience," he said gently, stroking his beard. "If someone doesnt want something to be found, it wont be easily discovered."

And then, say, Kat could post a reply describing her character Aimee coming over to them and offering to help them work. Then I could reply with Nammon and Rithen's reaction. And it goes on and on to play out a story. Most posts are longer than that, though. Be sure to be detailed with your writing. :D

Make sense? Any questions at all feel free to yell and scream until one of us gets here haha. ;) I hope you enjoy your time here! May the Force be with you.
